I have a few very small issues to work out. The bass is a tad timid, wonderful tone and endless sustain just needs a bit more punch. Mid tone and treble is super. Bright, clear and distinctive. The over all volume is about what I expected for this air chamber. Would probably be a good canidet for preamp and pickup. Sill it is very nice for a set and pick by your self guitar. I have to un-string it and work on two minor fret buzz issues. I use a saddle previously intonated for another guitar, just to see what it was going to sound like, so I still have to intonate a saddle specific to this guitar. But it won't take much. If I build another Thinline I think I will thin the top a bit more. May still go in a tweak this one a bit on the braces. That is if I can get my hand and plane in there. Picture to come later this week when it is finished. I am waiting on a custom Gold MOP truss rod cover from Andy DePaule for it.MichaelP38880.7313888889

Yeah, I've always pictured this as a stage guitar. In fact, a just about perfect one. Easy to hold and play for four sets while standing; great looking; and the incomparable vibe of a quality, one-of-a-kind, hand-made instrument!

BTW, I'd wait 'til it's been strung up for a while before modifying the braces--especially if your buyer is local. We've heard just too many stories about how guitars open up and improve in the bass register within a month.

I'm lookin' forward to those photos!!!
